If you travel like me and your favourite evening recreation is bingo then learn the bingo lingo. It’s important for bingo players who travel from state to state within America, and to Canada and the United Kingdom, to know the local bingo language. If you don’t, you may not understand the rules, may misread the pattern or the number called, or the rules, and make a fool of yourself.
I don’t refer to the game etiquettes as I expect any bingo player to know them. Complete silence during a game, keep your cell phones on silent or switched off. Don’t talk on these nuisances and amongst yourself. In every bingo hall the game is different, unless it’s the coverall and the jackpot. God help you if you disturb a jackpot game! You can come within a hair’s breadth of losing your life if you disturb a jackpot game.
You must know the rules and understand the variations being played. Get all this cleared before the game starts, else blame your own stupidity and play silently. Most bingo players in bingo halls are very serious about the game. So, don’t take a game lightly. No one wants an eighty year old granny or a forty year old slick gambler cursing them!
